Trick or Treat

Really?  I mean is this really a question, after all who wants to be tricked.  I don't ever recall anyone giving out tricks in my entire life.  Treats for sure!

How sad would it be if someone really tricked little kids? I couldn't bare to see their little faces of being let down, especially after all the excruciating pain that their parents put them through just to dress up in the first place.  I suppose some little ones may get excited but I'm sure it's not very many. I'm talking six and under.  I know my little ones always had fits over the masks, hats, etc. and they didn't last long.

The middle age group are probably somewhat into the dressing up but more about the candy.  At least they are likely to keep their costumes in tact.  However, still don't see that trick thing working out to well for them. Again, all about that candy.

Teens? Now I could totally see some tricks here.  Especially the ones that are to old to be out anyway. I don't think it's about the candy at this point but rather dressing up.  Gathering with a group of friends in their costumes and going out for the evening of a little fun and mischief.  That's primarily what they are up to.  Just a little fun.

Now, the question is.....What kind of tricks?  Maybe hiding in the bushes for a little scare or passing out some dental floss.  God knows, kids hate to floss.  If that's not enough, how about raisins or toothpaste? Anything that a kid would despise would be trick enough.

On that note, I'm hoping everyone has a treat instead of a trick.  Remember not all treats have to be candy, even pennies add up.
