It's that time of year

All the lights and decorations
The choirs singing
Music to our ears

It's the season of giving
Not just receiving
The Lords word
To prove he's still living

We praise his name on high
In words of song
Let your voices be heard
Please don't be shy

We would not be here
Without his gift of life
To love one another
And spread Christmas cheer

Tis the season
To be joyous
And to be blessed
For he's the reason
